Task 1
A) What is Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship?
Intrapreneurs are employers within an organization who are supposed to be innovative and creative. They are expected to transform a mere idea to a profitable venture in the same company or organization that they are a part of.
Entrepreneurs are those who take risks to invest in new ideas. According to Jean-Baptiste Say, "an entrepreneur shifts the economic resources out of an area of lower into an areas of higher productivity and yield".
B) Can it be taught?
Yes it can be taught. But it is upto the student to bring what is taught into practice. Teaching IP, EP skills and methods in a course or as a part of course can only give ideas to aspiring students. If we ask a question like' how many students that are enrolled into an Entrepreneurial course ended up as entrepreneurs?' the answer will be at least not everyone who took up the course. So it is totally dependent on the student. There are also many other factors like having the right idea at the right time. When I see the program 'Dragons den' in tv, I see how many aspiring entrepreneurs come with ideas for money from even bigger entrepreneurs called 'the dragons'. Not everyone attended a course or is a student of business management. Some accidentally stumbled on an idea, some converted their own product of convenience into a business idea and some others invented something due to a major change in their lives. Only those ideas and products that have a strong market value and growth prospects are appreciated and supported. So it might take some time and effort to become a successful entrepreneur and most of the times trial and error method also works!
Here is one such place in India where aspiring enterpreneurs get all the required nurturing and advise from experts.

C) What kind of effect would the development of Intrapreneurial skills have on me as a teacher?person?
I am thinking why only development of Intrapreneurial skill in a teacher? why not Entrepreneurial? probably the former could lead to the later? I think that the teacher has a 'major' role but not the 'complete' role in education. The earlier holds true probably many years ago but these days education is sharing of knowledge and learning together. Although the teacher is there to help find ways and show paths and open some doors, it is totally upto the student to find the 'fruit of success'. During the process some dig deep and get a bigger piece while the others are probably happy with what they achieve.
